Here....they usually travel in groups of 3 or 4 and will put a very cute little girl in front of them, so when you open the door, she is the first one you see....really hard to slam the door on that cute little face....but I do...oh yes, I do....and usually with a "I'm a Methodist and I'm not looking to change right now, but thanks anyway."
Lately...they've started sending English speaking ones...hmmmm...they must think I'm ready to change...

Haha, sounds like you scared them away. Once I was seated next to a Jehovah's Witness on a plane. I told her I was teaching and she told me she was a teacher too and launched into her spiel. I finally had to pretend to fall asleep. There was nowhere to escape to.

It seems in our neighborhood (101 Rvk) the Jehovah's Witnesses are only targeting the Polish. They rang our doorbell last week asking if any Polish people lived here. My boyfriend said no, but they wanted to come in and personally ring the other doorbells anyway. And this is why most apartment buildings have a secure, locked front door!

One time when we were teens we got home and my brother had two Jehovahs in the house and he was playing video games. They then left and we were like 'why did you invite the in??' and he replied 'i wanted someone to play video games with but they wouldn't play and they just kept talking so I just kept playing video games and pretended to listen.'. Lol!

It reminds me of a time , many years ago. I was at my brother's house in Dodge City, Kansas.

All I can say is that it involved my brother, who's not all that politically correct, a bottle of Jack Daniels, and a preacher who stopped by his house because he thought he needed saved.

My grandmother tended to send me to the door, when I lived at her place (while going to music college), if the doorbell rang at an unexpected time - I'm very good at saying: "We're not interested, thank you!" but she always got drawn into a conversation and even asked them in (ugh!)
